Plan a Visit

Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction, ends up being the biggest step of your life.

New Here

A visit to church for the first time can be intimidating. At Lighthouse you will find a friendly place where you will feel at home. Greeters are located at the front entrance and will be happy to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go.

A typical service will consist of traditional congregational songs and special singing followed by clear, challenging Bible preaching. The service is concluded with an invitation to make personal decisions to follow Christ or to walk more closely with Him.

No matter your stage in life, we have a place for you!

First Visit Plan

We’re so glad you’ve decided to visit us! You’ll find a list of commonly asked questions. Please don’t hesitate to send us a message or give us a call at 251.445.3118

What is the music like?

The music we sing at Lighthouse is a balance of old and new. We love the doctrinally rich hymns of the sixteenth century and we find blessing in some of the modern hymns and choruses of the twenty-first. We strongly prefer congregational singing, which emphasizes the gathered body singing praise to God with one voice, over performed music, which tends to spotlight the abilities of some while encouraging passivity in the rest.

What does your church believe?

LBC exists to develop a thriving community of believers that is passionately reaching the world for Jesus Christ. We do this through our three fold purpose: of Loving God Fervently, Growing Together Biblically, and Reaching Others Passionately. The following comprise the Scriptural beliefs of this church and its members.

Will there be child care?

We provide a first-class nursery and childcare for your newborn or baby, where they will be kept safe and well supervised. We provide a tracking number for each child and parent during your visit here at Lighthouse Baptist. Background checks are run on all of our nursery workers to ensure our children’s safety.

What should I wear?

There is not a dress code at Lighthouse Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Lighthouse Baptist!
